From February 15 thru February 18, Winter Wings is holding its annual festival. This year’s festival will feature over 60 activities – the most ever in its 39-year history!
Learn about the wildlife in and around the Klamath Basin through a variety of educational encounters, such as workshops, presentations, field experiences.
Each year, Winter Wings is jam-packed fun for the whole family. From bird photo contests to art, paint, and drone activities, you’re sure to find your dose of fun and learning.
The festival is proudly produced by The Klamath Basin Audubon Society and celebrates the largest wintering population of bald eagles in the contiguous United States! Come explore the amazing abundance in bird variety that this region has to offer. We welcome birders and wildlife enthusiasts as well as casual visitors looking to get outdoors and explore our amazing bird population – over 130 species of birds!
The Winter Wings Festival is one of the largest festivals in the nation that is an all-volunteer effort.
We provide transportation, lodging information, and other accommodations to ensure that your trip is a memorable experience, whether you’re a Klamath Basin native or coming from way out of town.
